Johnny Bravo
A Rutgers grad in Chemical Engineering, Bravo has done graduate work at Harvard and the University of Virginia in the field of Government Administration, Management, and Policy. Bravo received a formal Commendation from the City Council of Philadelphia for his work in South Philadelphia on Environmental Restoration and Base Closure. He also was also commended by the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union for his investigation of the Amoco Oil Company disaster in New Castle Delaware in 1980. Bravo had a 35-year career at the Department of Defense where he received the civilian Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and has many personal commendations from Generals at the Defense Logistics Agency.
Bravo co-founded Bravo Entertainment, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit philanthropic corporation, and directs the Leonardo DaVinci Society Division of that group in which he judges and gives awards at the Delaware Valley Science Fair. Each year he funds over $1,300 in prizes to individual science projects.
In Evesham Township, he was appointed to the Township Historic Commission and ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the Town Council in 2016. Through the years he was a baseball coach, a soccer coach and a Cub Scout leader in Marlton NJ. And for over twenty years he has participated in local Community Theater productions, most recently in To Kill a Mockingbird at Rowan College.
